Classes will resume on Wednesday 31st July 2013. All of the instructors have had a good break and we hope that all parents and children have too.

This term our motto is going to be - Chasing excellence in a fun way.

After attending  a coaches course and conference in July, Pam has realised that we've been on the right track, we have the knowledge, but now we just want to find better ways of delivering it!!

At the end of June, those who were still swimming, received a Progress report in Booklet style. As from this term every child will be issued with such a booklet. We hope this will help all pupils (and their parents) to see the path that they are on, how far they've travelled and how far they still have to go. While we know that the path to Gold level is not for every child, we do hope that more children will be inspired to complete this level and then to move on with their swimming career with a professional coach.

This term we are also hoping to be able to offer more lessons at Cornwall Hill College (hopefully Mondays and Wednesdays as well). We will resume lessons there as soon as the water is warm enough (a rough estimate is mid-September).

New bookings

Pam will be at Virgin Active Centurion every afternoon from 22 July to 30th July  from 14h30 to 18h30 (except Friday 26th and the weekend). On Friday 26th (14h30-17h30) and Saturday 27th (09h00-12h00) Pam will be at Virgin Active Eco Park. You are welcome to come and talk to her to find out more. We usually like to assess children who can already swim in order to place them in a suitable class, so bring your child/ren and their swimgear with. Otherwise please email info@libraswim.co.za and give us as much info as possible.

The World Swimming Championships begin in a few days - please let your children watch and be inspired!!

Here's to a great season.
